Tuna Melts

Ingredients
  • Sliced Brown Bread
  • Tinned Tuna
  • 1 Small Onion
  • 2 Small Garlic Cloves
  • Sliced Cheddar Cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Oregano
  • Finely chop the onions and garlic
  • Open and drain a tin of tuna in spring water
  • Butter all the slices of bread and place 2 slices of cheese on half of them
  • Place the tuna flakes on the cheese layer
  • Place the onion and garlic on the tuna layer
  • Sprinkle with oregano and a little olive oil
Preheat a grill and grill the sliced bread with fillings until browned and bread sides are crispy. Place the top bread slices on the bottom and grill on both sides until brown.
Serve hot with tea or coffee and some coleslaw or side salad.
Can use slimming world bread, low fat cheese etc.. and basil instead of oregano.
