Traditional Pancakes

Ingredients
  • 200g Plain Flour
  • 4 Large Eggs
  • 600ml Full Fat Milk
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Use an electric whisk to mix the flour, eggs, milk, salt and oil in a large bowl until there are no lumps
  • Leave for a little while to settle
Heat a suitable pan to about 60% of the max ring heat and add a little oil and spread. Use a large soup spoon to transfer batter from the bowl to the pan so you will have consistent amounts. Tilt the pan to fill the surface with batter. Flip once to cook on both sides then place on a plate in a warm oven to keep warm until serving.
Serve warm with your choice of fillings/toppings.
Adjust the ratio of flour and milk to suit your liking, thick or thinner pancakes. You can use skimmed or low fat milk too but pancakes will be thinner.
